What personal data does use?

When an order is placed on our web shop, we need information to successfully deliver the order of the customer to the chosen address. For this we need multiple personal data.

Below is the exact information that we need to be of service to the customer:

  • First and last name
  • Address and place of residence
  • Telephone number: this is requested by our transport partners so that they can easily reach you in the event of a delay or a problem in the delivery.
  • Payment information: We use a secure payment environment. When you pay via PayPal and credit card, we will forward you to our partners so that you can complete your payment in a secure environment. We do not receive information regarding your credit card number or bank details. As a result, it may happen that the customer service asks for your IBAN number so that we can return money to you.
  • IP address: We link your IP address with your customer account so that we and you can be sure that no one else is using your Vegaoo account.

What do we use your personal data for?

The above personal data is used for the following:

  • Customer service: If you contact us, we will write a note in the system so that all employees have the exact information about you to help you with future requests. For example, you do not have to explain everything once again with the next contact. We create a notification about every customer that contacts us via e-mail or telephone, which explains the contact and topic discussed. This helps us to continue to improve our services.
  • Account: Your personal details include details such as name, address, telephone number and previous orders. It helps you to get a clear overview of the information we have about you and you do not have to enter the data every time.
  • Newsletters: You can sign up for our newsletter free of charge via our Home Page by providing us with your e-mail address. We will then send you the best offers, tips and news. You can of course easily unsubscribe by clicking on the link at the bottom of our e-mails. It does not work? Please contact our customer service on 0207 092 6676 or by e-mail to
  • Improvement and shopping experience: We do our best to provide you with the best products and would like to hear if you have been satisfied with the delivered products. For this our partner Ekomi sends an automatic e-mail 5 days after receipt of your package so that you can rate us on their website. You will only receive an e-mail with a personal link for the assessment. You can exceptionally receive a second e-mail with a survey about your habits on the internet. This research is short and usually only contains a few questions and helps us to improve our services. For example, we ask for which event you placed an order or which products are missing on our web shop.

Removing personal data

You can easily erase your personal data via your customer account.

Do you want to completely delete your data from the system? Send an e-mail to or call us on 0207 092 6676.
